for Intermediate & Advanced Practitioners WHO ARE READY

You can hold the pose. Now learn to move through it.

If you can hold crow but can't link it, trying to drop back but can't, or flow but feel like something is still missing, then this is exactly where you need to be.

  • Progressive mechanics, not random flows

  • Lifetime access - repeat any phase, anytime

One structured path. One game-changing shift in how you move.

Most yoga classes teach you poses.

They don't teach you how to move between them.

That's the gap that keeps intermediate practitioners stuck — endlessly repeating the same poses, feeling like they're missing something, but not quite sure what.

Here's what's actually missing: the mechanical intelligence that makes transitions possible.

"The real skill is not simply doing the pose. The real skill is entering, exiting, and linking them — with control."

- Anand, Founder of Skanda Yoga & ERYT 500

Arm balances don't just require strength.

They require precise hand placement, compression sequencing, weight distribution, and shoulder stability working together in a coordinated pattern.

Drop-backs don't just require flexibility. They require thoracic mobility, hip extension mechanics, and controlled rebound — not just courage and hope.

I've been teaching this since 1995. What I've seen over and over again is that once a practitioner understands how the body is designed to move through these transitions — everything changes.

The poses get lighter. The links become possible. The practice becomes genuinely intelligent.

Arc & Rise was built to close that gap. It's structured, progressive, and rooted in the alignment principles I've spent decades refining through Skanda Yoga.

In 20 days, you won't just know these poses better. You'll understand your body differently.

Because if you're ready to stop...

❌ Holding Crow in isolation — but having no idea how to link it to anything

❌ Attempting drop-backs through sheer willpower (and hoping your spine cooperates)

❌ Watching advanced transitions on video and thinking "I'm just not built for that"

❌ Getting to a wall in your practice with nothing structured to push through it

❌ Training flexibility without the strength mechanics that actually make it safe

❌ Feeling like advanced movement is reserved for "other" practitioners — not you

TESTIMONIALS

Victor Zuclich

Yoga Teacher

One of Anand’s greatest attributes is his continual quest for knowledge and understanding. Like a scientist, he strives to incorporate new information to his teachings, recognizing that we are all students regardless of position. So many yoga practices today are teaching just physical fitness or what I would consider aerobics and that’s ok if that is what a student is looking for. But for those that want to discover truth and understanding than there are few teachers today that can provide the perspective and learning offered by Anand.

Yoga Teacher & Business Coach

I started practicing yoga and fell in love with the movement and power my body got but I was never able to really do poses without getting hurt or having a really hard time. I was NOT Flexible like most people. I practiced with Anand, and his body mechanics, his cues and I dare say magic way of getting me into poses helped me do asanas I'd never dream of - even if they weren't perfect - I felt so embodied! Highly recommend.

A Structured Path. Not Another Random Flow.

20 days. A clear method. Real progression.

Here's how Arc & Rise is designed to work:

  • Phase 1 — Foundations: Build the wrist resilience, thoracic mobility, and core compression that make everything else possible — starting on Day 1.

  • Phase 2 — Mechanics: Refine the technical details that make arm balances lighter and more controlled. Hand placement, hip positioning, compression drills, and arm balance linking.

  • Phase 3 — Integration: Put it all together. Link arm balances, progress Eka Pada Koundinyasana into chin stand, enter arm balances from inversions, and prepare your body for drop-back mechanics and rebound.

Each phase is designed to support the next and to help your body understand a new way of moving. 3 main practices supported by smaller focused ones to take your awareness into new heights.

MEET THE FOUNDER & CEO

Hey, I'm Anand!

I've been teaching yoga since 1995, and I created Skanda Yoga because I believe your body deserves to be taught how it actually works — not just what shape to make.

I've guided students through thousands of hours of practice, written three books on yoga mechanics, and built Arc & Rise specifically because I kept seeing the same gap in intermediate practitioners: all the desire to go deeper, with none of the structural tools to get there.

This training is what I wish every advanced student had from the beginning.

IS THIS YOU?

Arc & Rise is your next step if you:

  • Already have a consistent yoga practice and can hold Crow comfortably

  • Are an intermediate or advanced practitioner ready to be challenged

  • Want to actually understand the mechanics — not just muscle through

  • Are a yoga teacher who wants to teach these transitions with more confidenc

  • Have tried drop-backs and feel like something technical is off (it probably is 😄)

This probably isn't for you if:

  • You're brand new to yoga or advanced movement practices

  • You're looking for foundations

  • You're not ready to practice poses outside of your comfort zone

  • You don't have time to dedicate to this over 20 days and beyond

  • Arm balancing is something you've never even thought of because yin yoga is your jam (we love yin too)

If you’re brand new to yoga, this challenge may move too quickly. But if you’re comfortable with basic flows and want to grow, Arc & Rise will meet you right at that edge.

Your Practice Doesn't Have to Stay Where It Is

You're 20 days way from moving differently

Inside Arc & Rise, you get:

  • Introductory wrist and hand mechanics video

  • 20 progressive guided video practices

  • Arm balance linking + inversion-to-arm balance entries

  • Drop-back mechanics + rebound preparation

  • WhatsApp practice group

  • Lifetime access — train on your schedule, repeat anytime

Frequently Asked Questions

Still wondering if Arc & Rise is right for you? Start here.

Do I need to be able to do Crow Pose already?

No. You should be comfortable with an intermediate yoga practice, but you do not need to already balance in Crow or any other arm balance. We’ll build from foundations toward more complex variations, and you can repeat practices as often as you like.

How long do I have access to the challenge?

You get lifetime access. Even though it’s structured as a 20-day challenge, you can move at your own pace, repeat weeks, or revisit specific practices anytime you want a refresh.

What equipment do I need?

You’ll need a yoga mat and enough space to move comfortably. Blocks and a bolster or firm pillow are helpful but optional. Everything is demonstrated with simple, accessible setups.

Is this safe if I’ve had wrist or shoulder issues?

Please check with your healthcare provider first. Inside the challenge you’ll find specific wrist-prep and strength-building practices, plus options for modifying load. Always listen to your body and skip anything that doesn’t feel right.

I’m a yoga teacher—will this help me cue arm balances better?

Yes. You’ll see exactly how each pose is broken down, plus you’ll receive the “Teaching Arm Balances Safely” bonus guide with language, progressions, and safety considerations you can bring directly into your classes.
